This festival started out with an open invite to anyone on the FABP (Face and Body Painting list) to come down and visit Renee Domingue and Susie Pierce.

They would cook them a pot of gumbo. Before we knew it we had about 15 people wanting to come - now we have about 40 painters who want to come and party and paint with us! As the list of people grew... we came to nickname it "The Fete that ate Lafayette"! (Hey... it rhymes too :)

We have many trained and experienced painters who will be here to share their knowledge.
